Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Socratyc, LLC processes information when you use FounderReady. We keep project writing separate from waitlist information and do not sell personal information.

Your writing is saved in this browser on this device, not as project records in our database. When you use AI features, relevant writing and context are sent through Lovable’s AI gateway to generate the requested response. Voice transcription sends your recording, and market lookup sends search queries based on your market definitions and industry. The optional waitlist stores your email, industry, and submission metadata separately from your writing. The app uses shared demo access, not a personal account. Logging out clears demo access but preserves your writing.

Your project description and product name are kept in your browser. Relevant text is sent for the AI features you request, including conversations and translations. Do not enter confidential information or personal information about other people unless you have permission to use it.

Your conversation, answers, evidence, saved lines, practice drafts, and market information stay in this browser on this device until you start a new idea or clear site data. Relevant answers and context are sent when you request AI help. Writing is not synchronized between browsers or devices, and people who can use the same browser may be able to see it.

Your selections. Your chosen industry and other project selections are stored with your writing in this browser and may be used as context for AI features. If you join the waitlist, the industry you select there is stored with your email separately from your project.

Your email address, if you join the optional waitlist. We store your email and chosen industry with a generated record identifier and submission date and time. The submission form checks a hidden anti-spam field. Waitlist submissions do not include project writing or a personal account identifier. The two consent choices you make on the waitlist form, and the time you made them, are stored with your waitlist entry.

Technical information. Hosting, AI, and error-reporting services may process request information such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, timestamps, and error details to operate and troubleshoot the site. Diagnostics can include service error responses. We do not use application-added advertising or third-party analytics scripts.

Demo access. Protected app pages and AI features require the shared demo credentials. The email field is checked against the configured demo username; it does not create a profile or subscribe you to the waitlist. The password is checked on the server, and a signed access token is kept in session storage. Log Out clears that token without clearing your project.

FounderReady sends relevant project text, answers, evidence, confirmed lines, selected industry, and other context needed for the feature you request through Lovable’s AI gateway. This includes conversations, translations, persona and founder-market-fit responses, glossary explanations, reframed answers, and Talk About It versions. Each request may include earlier context, and the service may retry a failed request. Market lookup sends search queries based on your market definitions and industry to a research service and fetches public source pages. Your waitlist email is not added to these requests, but information you include in your writing may be sent. Service providers process requests under their own terms; this policy does not promise a particular provider retention period or that requests are excluded from model training.

If you choose to use the microphone, your browser asks for microphone access. The recording is sent through Lovable’s AI gateway for transcription, and the resulting text can become part of your writing. FounderReady does not save audio as project records in its database. Provider processing and retention are governed by the provider’s terms.

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on performance of the service you request for AI processing and app features; consent for optional waitlist updates about your selected FounderReady industry; and legitimate interests for operating, securing, and troubleshooting the service and keeping a record of a requested waitlist subscription. We may also process information to meet legal obligations. Joining the waitlist is separate from using the app.

You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect anything we did before you withdrew.

Service providers include Lovable Cloud for hosting and the waitlist database, Lovable’s AI gateway and the language and transcription services it routes to, and the connected research service used for market lookup. Hosting and diagnostic services may process technical information. Opening Socratyc Sidekick loads a separate service that can receive ordinary browser request information. FounderReady does not attach your project writing to its Sidekick link or send it to the Sidekick panel.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Their terms describe applicable processing locations and transfer safeguards. Contact us with questions about a provider’s handling of your information; this policy does not guarantee a specific processing location or transfer mechanism.

Your writing stays in this browser on this device until you use Start a New Idea or clear site data. Logging out or closing a tab does not delete it. Clearing the project does not delete downloaded files, waitlist records, or information already processed by service providers. Demo access is stored for the tab session, expires after 24 hours, and is removed by Log Out. The cookie-notice dismissal remains in local storage until you clear it. Waitlist records are kept until you ask to be removed or the waitlist is closed. Provider processing, logs, and backups follow the provider’s own retention practices.

The public waitlist form can submit validated email and industry entries but cannot read waitlist records back. Project writing is not saved as project records in that database. Browser storage is not a private account or an encrypted backup. No transmission or storage method is perfectly secure. Use a trusted device and avoid entering sensitive information you do not want processed by service providers.

FounderReady uses local storage for your writing and cookie-notice dismissal, and session storage for demo access and opening-animation preferences. If optional sound becomes available, its preference is stored for the tab session. The notice’s OK button acknowledges the notice; it is not consent to advertising or analytics. The app does not add advertising or third-party analytics scripts. You can clear site data in your browser. Hosting services may have their own operational cookies and request logs.

FounderReady is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If we become aware that we hold information from someone under 18, we delete it.

You may ask us to access, correct, update, delete, restrict the processing of, or transfer your personal information, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these rights are yours under the GDPR, and you may also withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.

You can ask us to remove your waitlist email and industry by writing to hello@socratyc.com. You do not need to join the waitlist to use the demo. We do not run targeted advertising in FounderReady.

We may update this policy as FounderReady, our tools, or the law changes. When we do, we revise the effective date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be noted in the application.
