Terms of Use

By using FounderReady you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use it.

FounderReady helps you describe your project in investor and accelerator language, work through questions, record confirmed answers, and prepare pitch materials and practice. It offers educational guidance, translations, sourced reference material, and AI-generated drafts. It does not decide whether your idea is ready or evaluate the truth of your evidence.

FounderReady is not investment advice, legal advice, financial advice, or a guarantee of any outcome. Using it does not mean you will be accepted to any program, receive any funding, or succeed with any investor. The decisions about what to do next are yours.

The current app uses shared demo credentials rather than personal accounts. Access to protected pages and AI features requires a valid demo token. Do not share credentials without permission or try to bypass the demo gate. Access may expire or become unavailable. Logging out removes demo access but leaves your device-local writing intact.

Everything you enter into FounderReady, including your project description, answers, evidence, product name, and saved pitch lines, remains yours. Socratyc, LLC claims no ownership of it. You allow us and our service providers to process it as needed to provide the features you request, including AI conversations, translations, transcription, and market research. Your writing stays in this browser on this device until you start a new idea or clear site data. It is not saved as project records in our database. Logging out does not delete your writing. Downloads are generated in your browser, and clearing site data does not delete files you have downloaded.

AI features send relevant writing and context through Lovable’s AI gateway; voice transcription sends your recording, and market research uses queries derived from your definitions and industry. Service providers process these requests under their own terms. AI responses and researched figures can be incorrect, incomplete, or unsupported. Review drafts and linked sources, confirm wording yourself, and check figures before using them. No response is a verdict on your idea or a promise of funding.

You can generate pitch decks, deck PDFs, documents, and text downloads in your browser from the content available to each export. Saved pitch materials use confirmed lines; drafts and originals appear where the document or practice format includes them. Review your files before sharing them. Downloads are not automatically synchronized or deleted when you clear your project.

FounderReady uses local storage for your writing and cookie-notice dismissal, and session storage for demo access and opening-animation preferences. If optional sound becomes available, its preference is stored for the tab session. The notice’s OK button acknowledges the notice; it is not consent to advertising or analytics. The app does not add advertising or third-party analytics scripts. You can clear site data in your browser. Hosting services may have their own operational cookies and request logs.

The optional waitlist stores your email, chosen industry, and submission metadata separately from your writing so we can send updates about that FounderReady industry. Joining does not create a personal account. Ask to be removed at hello@socratyc.com.

You may use FounderReady for your own lawful purposes. You agree not to interfere with it, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, scrape it in a way that burdens our systems, or enter information that is false, unlawful, or that belongs to someone else without permission. We may suspend access if the tool is being misused.

FounderReady, its text, layout, design, graphics, logos, the glossary, the question framework and guidance, and the Socratyc and FounderReady names are owned by Socratyc, LLC or used under license, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view, download, and print your own pitch and pages for your own reference. You may not copy, republish, or use our materials commercially without our written permission. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners and appear for identification only.

FounderReady and its content are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components, and nothing in it is legal, financial, investment, or professional advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Socratyc, LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of FounderReady. Our total liability for any claim relating to it will not exceed one hundred United States dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the greatest extent permitted.

FounderReady provides linked sources and access to Socratyc Sidekick, which may open in a panel or separate tab. These services operate separately and may have their own access requirements, terms, and privacy practices. FounderReady does not attach your project writing to the Sidekick link. Review external policies before using those services.

We may update these terms as FounderReady and our services change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect, and continued use means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to FounderReady will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
